1 can chickpeas (drain the water)

2 whole tomatoes (cut into cubes)

Sauce:

3 tbspoon mayonaise

1 tspoon dijon mustard

1 tspoon lemon juice

1 tbspoon tomato ketchup

salt & pepper to taste

Preparation:

Mixed all the sauces ingredients & add the chopped tomatoes & drain chickpeas.

Served with your favourite pasta as an appetizer or have it with warm bread.

KUIH BAKAR HIJAU

Ingredients:

3 1/2 cups of coconut milk

5-6 eggs

2 cups of sugar

2 cups of plain flour

4 drops of pandan colour

toasted sesame seeds(optional)

Preparation:
Mixed sugar & eggs until well.
And add all the ingredients except the sesame seed.
Sieve the mixture in the baking mould.
Baked in the oven for 45 min - 1 hr at 180 c.

Hello, I am Fazlina. this is especially made for my younger sister, Aqilah who really wants to eat tempura. So there it is.

(Left to Right): Fish Tempura,Cucumber, Hotdog, Crab Stick & Mushroom.

All were fried in tempura flour. Bon appetit!

Tempura recipe:

70 grm tempura flour

1 whole egg

some salt

some water

Alot of oil for frying

Preparation:

Mixed all the ingredients & dip the vegetables & seafoods into the flour mixture.

Fry until cooked.Served with japanese rice, shoyu (light soya sauce) & hot green tea

ONION SAUCE SENEGALESE STYLE

If you're crazy for mustard you should try this...Yummy...yummy...

Recipe:

4 whole onion - chopped or sliced

3 tablespoon of Dijon mustard or any mustard

a few dash of paprika or chili powder

a few dash of black pepper

a few dash of white pepper

2 tablespoon of olive oil

salt to taste

2 tablespoon of water

Preparation:

Heat oil in the pan, add in the onion.Leave it for awhile then add in mustard & all the spices.

Stir well & cover it.In a medium heat check once awhile,add in water & stir always so that the sauce doesn't burn.Served with fried potatoes,fish fillet,fried egg & salad.

And not to forget must eat with french bread. Bon Appetit

Any of your preference fish )

some turmeric powder & salt ) mixed together & fry

1 big onion chopped

6 pcs of cili padi

5-6 pcs green chilli

some fried belacan (shrimp paste)

1 tbspn sugar - if you don't like hot & add in more sugar

salt to taste

some oil

Preparation:

Marinate the fish with some turmeric & abit of salt.

Then fry it until cooked.Blend all the chilli.

In a pan put some oil then add in the chopped onion, until soft. Add in the chilli paste & belacan paste.Lastly add sugar & salt to taste. Happy trying!!!

4 tblspoon soy sauce

2 tblspoon sugar

Filling:

1 bowl cooked rice

2 teaspoon vinegar

some salt

Preparation:

In a pot boiled the soy sauce & sugar until the sugar is melted.Add in the dry tofu.Soak it until the sauce is dry.Please keep an eye on the tofu so that it doesn't burn. For the rice - Mixed all the ingredients & put aside. Cut the centre of the tofu & insert the rice filling.

Recipe -

1 pre-baked graham pie crust

2 pkgs of cream cheese

3/4 cup sugar

3 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp fresh lemon juice

1 pkt of oreo biscuits

Preparation: Beat cream cheese until smooth.Add in sugar & egg mixed well.

Then add in all the other ingredients.Arrange oreo biscuits on the pie crust & pour in the cheesecake batter.Baked until cooked. Happy Trying!!!Tasted sooo... good & served with whipped cream.

We checked that they used vegetable oil for frying.But don't forget to say "shoyu tare nashi" when you are about to order because the soy sauce contain Alcohol (not halal) so we just have the tempura with salt. Or you can bring your own chili sauce or mayonaise hehehe...

Ingredients:

1 cup of sugar
1 cup of oil
3 cups of flour
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of vanilla essence
50 grm of chocolate chips or chocolate rice
3 eggs
some almond or walnut

Preparation:
Beat eggs & sugar until dissolved. Add in vanilla & oil stir again.
Then add all the dry ingredients add mixed well. Lastly add chocolate & almond.
Bake until golden brown depends on your oven. Enjoy it for teatime.

La Brioche French Bread

I'm a bread lover. Before this I tried to make bread but the outcome is bad.
First attempt to make this broiche.

Alhamdulilah very happy & satisfied with the nice texture & taste good too..

The ingredients are simple & easy to get in the supermarket.

La Brioche recipe: Makes 10 bun or 2 loaf

1 sachet of dry yeast (11 grm)

250 grm flour

1 tsp salt

6 tsp of sugar

6 tbsp of milk or water

2 eggs

50 grm butter softened

Preparation:

Mix flour with salt & sugar.Then add eggs and milk. Mixed together then add in the butter bit by bit until finish.Knead for 15 mins.Let it rest for 1 hr. If the dough is too soft add more flour.

Make a loaf or bun shape & let it rest again until the dough doubles.

Oven at 200 c & until golden brown.

Serve with jam and coffee. Enjoy!!!

Tortilla Lasagne With Tuna

Ehmmmm....tastes so good hingga air liur meleleh!!! hehehe....

Ingredients:

Serve 2-3

5 pcs of tortilla flour (chapati bread is ok)

1 tin tomato sauce with onion & garlic(ready to use)

1 packet mixed frozen vegetable (carrot,brocoli,cabbage)

some pinch of salt & pepper

some pinch of cumin powder

1 can of tuna in oil or water(drain out the liquid first)

1 can of sliced mushroom

1 packet of mixed cheese(mozarella,cheddar & gouda)

some mayonaise

Preparation:

Reheat the tortilla bread in the oven or pan for 5 minutes.Put aside.

For the sauce- mixed in the tin tomato sauce with cumin,salt,pepper,mixed vege,mushroom & tuna.Mixed well until done.

Put the tortilla bread in a baking pan layered it with the sauce & mayonaise until all the tortilla bread is used up.Sprinkle with cheese & bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.Serve hot.

This is a side dish called Lumpia means spring roll.The taste ehmmm...sedap maklumlah yang bergoreng.Dicecah dgn mixed mayonaise sauce (taste like thousand island pun ada).Menu for lunch Nasi Goreng Special with Chicken satay...the taste delicious.The heart shape egg,so sweet!!!Satay nya sedap tapi tidak sama rasanya dgn satay di singapura atau malaysia.Nice presentation kan???

And this is Nasi Campur ala Indonesia.Ada gado-gado,telor dadah,rendang lembu,mixed salad, lumpia (spring roll) & keropok udang(prawn cracker).The taste not bad especially the beef rendang.If anyone out there planing for a holiday in Tokyo Japan don't worry ada makanan halal disini... : )

Assalamualaikum everyone,I'm sorry for delaying the update of my blog.Taken alot of photos from my cooking but no time to upload it.So today I want to share the recipe with everyone.
Since I'm living abroad very difficult to find western halal food.So I make iniative lah to try this hehehe...But my sauce abit watery should add in more corn flour to thicken the sauce.
"Crispy Chicken with Lemon sauce & mash potatoes".Taste really good!My hubby give 5 star for this. : ) Macam hotel lak 5 star!?!

"Crispy Chicken with Lemon sauce & mash potatoes"
Recipe : Serves 3
6 pcs of boneless chicken
1 egg white
some all purpose flour (for coating the chicken)
Preparation: Whisk the white eggs, first coat the chicken into the eggs & then next into the flour.Coat 2x or 3x more so you can get crispy chicken than KFC.

Lemon sauce:
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 clove garlic mince
1/2 tbs butter (can be substitute to olive oil)
1/2 tsp vinegar
some sprinkle of basil powder or province herbs
some corn flour (to thicken the sauce)
salt & pepper
some honey ( if desired)

Preparation: Mixed everything together,stir well & lastly thicken the sauce with corn flour.If you want more sauce you can doubled the ingredients.

Mash Potatoes

6 potatoes (boiled until cooked)
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of half & half cream
1/2 tbsp butter (substitute to olive oil)
salt & pepper to taste

Preparation:
Mashed the potatoes & add in all the ingredients,mixed well.
You can use soy milk(without sugar) or low fat milk for dietary purpose.

My Family & I loves cornbeef very much.But I want something different so I browse thru' the website & found this simple,fast & yummy finger food & its called Cornbeef Springrolls.You can try the recipe below.

Ingredients:

1 tin of cornbeef
1 onion (chopped)
1 clove of garlic (minced)
some salt & pepper to taste
some green/red chilli(sliced)optional
sliced cheese sliced
enough springroll skin(kulit popiah)
some cornstarch mixture for sticking the springroll
some oil for frying

Method:
Fry the cornbeef with onion,garlic & chilli except cheese
Take 1 piece of springroll skin and put a tsp of corned beef on it
Put cheese slices on top of the corned beef and roll springroll
Repeat till you have used up your springroll skin and corned beef
Then you fry it till golden brown.
Served it hot...Happy trying.

Today I prepared something nice & simple for dinner.Had a packet of macaroni & some veges/beans in hand.And I named the recipe Garlic Sauce & Vege Macaroni...Taste very good & healthy!You can try it too...

Ingredients:

250 grm of 1 pkt of Macaroni
1 tbspn of garlic butter
some baby tomatoes(cut into half)
some brinjals slice
some red beans(in the tin)
some sprinkle of mixed herbs(in a bottle)
2 tbspn of mayonaise
salt & pepper to taste
1 tbspn olive oil

Garlic Sauce :
2 cloves of garlic (minced)}
1 cup of yogurt } - Mixed it well together}
1 tbspn of sweet chilli sauce}
some pepper & salt}

Preparation:
Make the macaroni as per package instruction.
Put some olive oil in the pan & add all the vege accept tomatoes.Saute for 5 mins.
Add in garlic butter & mayonaise.Next add in the macaroni & stir well.
Lastly pour the garlic sauce on the macaroni.
Served hot.Happy trying!
